Default Replacing Low pressure Power Streering hose

hi, I am replacing my low pressure p/s hose on my 96 XJ6 as I do have a leak from it. Is this something I can do myself? Do I need to flush the ps fluid? or is it recommended to take it to a shop. thanks.

There are 3 low pressure hoses on your car
Reservoir to pump
Rack to cooler
Cooler to reservoir

There is nothing complex about replacing hoses and you will lose fluid so be ready to catch it in something. It will self bleed as you fill it with DEXRON and turn the wheel lock-to-lock when you are done.

Jaguar lists DEXRON (there is no T in DEXRON) as the fluid of choice but I have not heard of any problems with alternate fluids.
