She’s still going… New MOT and recent trip to Rock Cornwall with my farther and son who’s now old enough to drive. Three day road trip with XK120 and XK150. All broke down, including Rusty outside Richard Hammond’s smallest cog workshop. Great fun, further trip planned next year….

Then spent ages storing a MKV in a succession of lockups over 40 years. However a couple of friends rebuilt the engine and then sold it to a Polish restorer, so it has survived, which is the main thing.
