Shut-off valve for 95 Vanden Plas
My baby is in storage at a friend's house about 5 hours from my current residence and I am going up to get it next month. In the meantime my friend has re-installed the winterized battery, in preparation to take it over to the mechanic's for a minor repair I need done. In the boot of the car, near the battery or right rear wheelwell is a lever that needs to be flipped back on for I believe, the fuel line? When I bought it, the former owner showed it to me and when I winterized it I flipped it off. However, my friend can't locate it, in spite of my direction and I'm too far away to show her. Having a heck of a time finding a picture of it, and if I knew exactly what it was called, I could google it and then send it to her or she can maybe find it in the driver's manual. Can anyone help please? Thank you so much!
Whatever you are referring to, it is not a factory installation. There is no "shut off" for anything back there, so it must have been installed by the P.O. Seems doubtful that it would be related to fuel. Some people put quick disconnect levers on the battery cable. Maybe there is a switch for something mounted inside the large fuse box near the battery?
