Squeaky creaky seat backs
Anyone have a similar experience where their drivers seat back creaks when the seat is stressed laterally, such as going around a turn at speed? It can be pretty loud sometimes.
I haven't looked into it yet, but it sounds like the plastic rear seat panel is creaking where it presses against the leather side of the seat.
And not surprisingly it seems to be more common and loud when the temperature is colder.
I'm thinking of adding some fabric/felt between that interface of seat rear panel and leather to test, but haven't gotten around to it. I'll probably look at it when I work on the broken seat memory pots.

I've had plastic-against-plastic or plastic-against-leather noises on many cars. Annoying as hell.
Your felt/fabric idea is good; I've done similar. On my XJR I had a creak noise from the extreme end of the instrument panel where it butts against the door trim panel. A 1/2" square of cloth electrical tape in 'just the right spot' insulated the door from the dash....ahhhh....silence.
Sometimes just a drop of baby oil or mineral oil or similar in the area of the 'itch' will quiet things down.
If a hard plastic piece is involved then sometimes it can be removed for a light sanding or filing to reduce the rubbing/interference just a smidge....enough to make the noise go away
Cheers
