I need to install another ecu in my vdp. I have disconnected the battery ground and then reinstalled the ecu including the ground wire.Did I miss anything ,as The car turns over but does not fire.

 

I don't think you missed anything. What are the parts numbers and which car (engine size and transmission type) did the new ecu come off? Also, why did you feel you had to swap the ECUs?

 

I took the car to a local jag shop as it would not start.It would turn over but not fire,everything else seemed towork so this tech installed a used ecu# LNA1410VD/102.The car only runs on 4 cyls now though. I think its not the right box,but can't seem to find out which computer I should be lookig for as there is no sticker in the trunk under the spare tire.I have been told that what I need is an LNA1410AH but what those last 3 digits are is a mystery. Can anyone help,as this has been going on for 13 months now,and I can't drive my beloved jag.
