Can someone point me to the procedure for aligning the sunroof? I have one side that seems to be a little higher than the other and of course, gets wind noise. May eventually have to take it to the dealer anyway to get the seal replaced. I heard that is a bear to replace. The New Mexico sum has beaten the crap out of the seal.

 

IF the tilt/slide mechanisms are out-of-sync side to side, then the motor must be removed so the individual cables can be moved slightly so the sides are EVEN.

IF the sliding roof steel panel is slightly uneven, you can remove the inner trim panel and loosen all the screws (6) to move the roof panel in the fastener slots.

 

The seal install has a tool that may be made yourself maybe

One thing I also noticed is those mirrors are noisier then heck. I followed the procedure for mirror noise and it really does not help. Is it just an aerodynamic issue with X300. It is almost like they did not test it in a wind tunnel
