Suspension Help **Thanks**
so i am in the process of making a few tools for my front suspension
first i have a 36' long steel rod 7/8's in diameter with fine -20 thread
i need to cut it into two 18' long pieces.
i tried a drumel and one other tool that i use to grind nails down.
neither worked i endned up cuting like 1/16th of the way threw
would an electric cheap saw work for this.?
next i need to drill a whole in the top of it
do i need a diamond tip since im cutting steel?
im also trying to make a bushing removal tool for the wishbones
im just gonna get a long bolt . 2 washer. 2 nuts. 1 xtra large socket, 1 smaller socket
the bolt will go threw the bushing. on one end where the bushing will be pushed out ill place a big socket so the bushing can fall into it.
on the other side i will place a small socket that wont get stuck when pushed into the bushings place.. ill place washers so the nuts can hold the sockets. ill just tighten the smaller socket side until it push's into the big socket.\
any ideas on how to cut this bad boy
