Default Torque Wrench Settings

I have a tendency to over-tighten and for that reason, if I don't have a specific torque wrench setting, try to use a short lever. Can be painful but at least it helps to avoid stretching/stripping bolts/nuts.

My current needs are the torque settings for the front seat fixing bolts and seat belt achorage points on my X300 but is there a general torque wrench settings listing anywhere that so far I haven't found.

Many thanks.

Here's the seat belts ... for some reason, there isn't a torque listing for the seats in the Body Components and Trim section - if I run across it, I'll post

That's a great start caldercay. Thank you very much.

Just 30-40, I would definitely have put more than that on them!

Some general guidelines: (May be shy of the manufacturer's recommendations, but you shouldn't have to worry about snapping heads if you use them)

Many thanks aholbro1. I will need to educate myself on the differences between the different groups but I am sure I will find an answer in these links. Thanks again.
