trans maint questions

Default trans maint questions
96 XJR with 99k miles, just bought it last night!! my question is how many quarts does it take without draining the torque converter, just pulling the pan and changing the filter, also what is the best fluid to use? anything else to change while I am under there in or around trans?? thanks!!

4-5qts on a pan drop and filter change, and I use Mobil1 synthetic ATF in my wife 96
