Hi,
Whichever way I am turning my turn signal does not turn off.
I was wondering if there is a fix for this and if yes, what is it. Or do I simply replace the stalk.
Thanks,
Jomo

BTW: I searched the forum for this problem but did not find anything

The turn signal flasher is inside the body processor module or the lamp control module as is goes from the stalk and through both

If you remove the ground in the stalk as it is stuck and it goes out you will prove both modules are OK and the fault is in the stalk switches . This can be done by removing connector CC4

Does the fault accure after you command the switch or all on it's own ?

I am fairly sure that it is the stalk. For the turn signal to go on I need to initiate that. After executing a turn the signal does not go off. When I manually move the stalk back to the center position the turn signal goes off.

Jaguar # LXF6455AA

You will need to take the switch apart to look at the over center mechanism

or

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Genuine...p/381626997869

cheaper then today's multifuntion switch

OK, I'll look at the switch tomorrow. Does anyone have a picture showing where this spring would go??

Hi,
I got the turn signal switch off today, readjusted the spring and the switch is turning off after left and right hand turns!
Happy Holidays!
