Hi Guys

I urgently need your help.

The car won't turn over today and when I leave the MILs for a bit the ENGINE CHECK, OIL PRESSURE & BATTERY lights stay on. I've used a volt meter on the battery and that's giving just over 12v so I assume that's ok.

The last thing I was doing on it last night was unscrew the four screws around the J-gate to look at the bulbs as I had been looking at a thread on here about changing them to LED's.

I put it back together this morning and dropped one of the screws down between the J-gate and the right hand side and it took me a few mins to fish it out with pilers, but apart from that I'm sure I put it back ok.

But when I go to start her it's like she's not in park properly.

You urgent help is needed and I look forward to it.

Just for the record I go the screw back and screwed it back it. I don't know if the two items are related, just thought I'd let you know lol. X

 

Try starting in neutral.

 

If you are not really careful, moving the shifter without the illumination module screwed on properly, will wipe the small metal lever right off the micro-switch for Park. Better check that.

I'm not sure what the technical term is, but I basically removed the metal pin from the plastic slider. All sorted now though :-). S
