Question Where do the third brake light wires run and connect?

Anyone know where, hopefully trunk area, the third brake light wires end up?

I'd like to wire in a tail light modulator to avoid getting rear ended in the heavy rush hour traffic I drive in every day. But there isn't room in the third brake light housing itself, and the wiring dives under the package shelf. So I'm not sure where to go looking for that pair of wires.

But I thought it surely must terminate somewhere in the trunk back by the battery and lighing module?

Anyone know which wires and where?

.

when my 3rd brake lights stopped working a few years ago, I remember it was due to a faulty fuse or relay which was in the trunk fuse box.
