X300 Drive Belt Tension and Idler/Tensioner Pulley Bolt Torque Values
My installation of JTIS is apparently hobbled, so I can't look up two things that I'll be needing this weekend, and I didn't find a thread here that had it in one location (or at all completely).
So I thought I'd ask the following succinctly:

So I thought I'd ask the following succinctly:
- What is the torque value for the through mounting bolt that attaches the three (XJR) or two (non-XJR) pulleys for the idler/tensioners for the drive belts (Supercharger, Alternator, A/C Compressor)?
- What are the belt tension specs for the three (XJR) or two (non-XJR) belts:
- Supercharger belt
- Alternator belt
- A/C compressor belt
.
I replaced my all those pulleys in my XJR and AC pulley on my XJR but I didn't pay attention to torque values.. I just used a 3/8" ratchet with the correct socket and tigthened until it was tight enough to come lose
Thanks, but my experience with replacing the pulleys on other cars is that they were sensitive to overloading the bearing, where they could then drag and cause premature failure of the pulley or belt.
Also need to know the belt tensions since the X300 doesn't use auto tensioners.
This is the first car I've had with micro-v belts that doesn't use auto tensioners, so don't want to over/under tighten the belt either.

According to the workshop manual the belts tension process is like setting the guitar string, you need to achieve the right resonance frequency for the belt. Haven't yet done this myself, so not sure which way to measure the resonance frequency, but perhaps the guitar tuner can be used?
Thanks, that is true if one has the right tool which I understand from XJREngineer IIRC isn't something most folks have or know how to use.
But I also believe there is a tension value, and I have a belt tension tool/gauge. It isn't a shop grade burroughs gauge, but one of the Gates "Kricket" tension gauges which I've read is good enough.
So I just need the tension value
...and bolt torque

) for the A/C tensioner pulley bolt. I need to confirm if that is the same torque for the idler and tensioner pulley bolts for the S/C belt.
