Default X300 specific tail light question

The tail light on a X300 has 5 bulbs.

What is the middle bulb in the bottom row used for?

Apparently it is appoximately 10 watts.

The bulb number would be nice additional information.

On a X308 this bulb position is blanked out.

That's a 5w bulb, and on the X300 it is the inboard tail lamp. The X308 does not have a bulb in that position. Part number with Jag is DBC11711.

Cheers,

Thanks for confirming that.

So, time for some plastic surgery on the X308 reflector housing.
