Hi guys, looking for some opinions on front subframe bush replacement.

My car (a 1995 XJR) needs the damper top mounts and upper wishbone bushes replacing, and generally feels pretty sloppy at the front end.

I'd quite like to change all of the front end bushes and ball joints to make it as good as it can be.

My question is this: Can the rear subframe bushes be changed with the subframe still on the car?

I'll be doing the work on my driveway, and I'm experienced in car maintenance (and doing complex jobs on said driveway!), but i'd like some honest opinions on how difficult this would be.

I understand I'll have to support the engine an drop the subframe, but would like to avoid removing it completely as it looks too heavy to do by myself.

Has anyone done this? I can only find threads of people removing the subframe completelt using a 4 post ramp. A luxury I dont have.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
