XJR GM 4L80E transmission fluid capacity

XJR GM 4L80E transmission fluid capacity
Probably about to drain and change the filter on the XJR transmission soon.
The Redline D4 ATF fluid isn't usually locally sourced, will need to be ordered ahead of time, is pricey and don't want to over-buy.... so anyone know the volume of fluid required once the pan is dropped and drained on the 4L80E?
Also curious about the total capacity including the torque converter.
I found the following general specifications, but am curious if the Jaguar spec 4L80E is any different:
4L80-E/4L85-E
Dry 12.8L (13.5 Qt)
Pan Removal 7.3L (7.7 Qt)
.

Good info here...
ALLDATA is telling me 7.7 quarts as well, for a Drain and Refill. I don't recall how many quarts I've put back in after draining my XJ12, but I'd probably say it's closer to the 5 quarts that Doug is stating.
Any reason why you're choosing RedLine D4?
I haven't done anything other than draining the ATF through the plug during each oil change, but I already purchased a new filter and pan gasket and want to change that out.
I think I used Valvoline Dex/Merc because it was easy to find, but I was considering Dexron VI, and some others too.
I'm sure there are some better options for this 4L80E than Valvoline Dex/Merc.
Thanks,
Nick

Lots of debates around (e.g. another "oil thread" ) about whether Dexron VI is better for older design transmissions originally designed for Dexron III. And I'm not professing to be an expert.
I can't find the thread here now, but I recall someone had contacted Redline and they recommended the D4 for this generation of transmission, and their D6 fluid for transmissions spec'd for Dexron VI.
Red Line Synthetic Oil - Automatic Transmission Fluids - D4 ATF
Red Line Synthetic Oil - Automatic Transmission Fluids - D6 ATF
Both are fully synthetic.
