My rear suspension rebuild turned into a brake rebuild too last week, and while sorting out the calipers I noticed they were bigger than standard. They should be ATE 36mm piston items but mine are 48mm. After a lot of phonecalls to my braking suppliers, I found they're off a 1995 Vauxhall Astra FRONT.

Does anyone know if there was a factory braking upgrade on these cars or has someone been messing around? They're a direct fit and the pads are identical to the originals.
