Oh sure...put it in an envelope and send it to:
I'm Your Huckleberry
555 Somewhere St
Over There, USA 11111

So, being it sat, then you have scaling off the piping walls that's settled. I'll be doing mine soon as well...I'll be putting on my Brembo's and flushing the lines.

Hey HH
What rims do you have , doesn't look like you can see much Thu stock rim... Or is just you knowing you have the brembos calipers?

I have Pentas, they'll need to be shimmed out about 13mm give/take to clear the Brembos. The only thing I don't have are the spacers and hoses. I want to see how they clear the fender lip because I would rather have the spacer locked down with lugs and have offset studs put in the spacer for length. If I can go 15mm, I'll get offsets or if I can go less than than 13mm, I'll just use the spacer.

Did mint sauce lick the pan clean?

When did you start writing Chinese?

Hi guys.
I am surprised how clean the inside of the transmission looks nothing but normal friction dust in the fluid. Better than what I seen in the volvo and both ford pickups I opened.
waiting on transgo upgraded parts and filters...
I got about 10qts of fluid out of the trans by hand cranking the engine over..
Other than that just doing yard work and hanging out with bob...lol. think I found a new home for him one where he'll never know mint sauce.
Everyone stay well and safe.
I'll update when I have something to update.

Hello...

Research Research!
Make sure you have the tools needed and take pictures of anything your not sure you'll remember later....
Most importantly don't do it with a cigar or cigarette lit and hanging off your lip....
Take your time go slow.. You'll get it done.
If you run into problems just come back here and ask questions the guys here are great at offering help...
I know the car i have had a new pump and fuel filter done at the dealer in 2014... 1700.$ Plus.

Good luck go slow and let everyone know how well it worked when your done..

Stay Safe...

Appreciate the positive comments!! Been researching for the last week or so. Busy building my collection of tools and stands etc, got my parts today, best way to depressurise the fuel system? Someone told me that’s pretty important! And fear not I don’t smoke 😂

The best way to depressurise the fuel system I know of is at the fuel rail but you'll still have fuel in the lines... So be ready..... wrap a rag around the rail and under it, won't be much.
Remove the cap from the Schrader valve and pressing the center pin just like on a bicycle

Don't worry about high jacking anything.
Read the title. .. All I wanted to know was where to safety place jack stands... Now Look where I'm at! lol
The guys on here gave me the confidence to keep moving forward. .
I just wanted to replace brake pads and lug studs.... ! It's much easier to do all 4 wheels off the ground move from one to the next without rejacking moving jackstands....
But here I am...lol.

He’s definitely the forum mascot!! love the black too, always wanted a black one but I ended up with seafrost after a drunken night at bingo then eBay 😂 I was only 30 and that was 6 years ago and she’s not often failed me! I’ll be looking through the thread again to place my axle stands, as I’m concerned that’ll crush me!

That was my concern also. That's why I came here... Not know anything about jags and I didn't trust those square tubes. its been on the stands for a few months now had the engine running while up on the stands it's hasn't moved... Then I get a email from Harbor Freaks Telling me these jack stands are faulty. Grrrr.... That's why I have my floor Jack's under the front just until I finish under the car then I'll return them...

Yes I’ve some wheel ramps I’ll put along the sills or somewhere as a fail safe, solid metal so should provide some additional protection should the worst happen 😂

I only picked up this car as a project for me and my son during the winter months. It looked good and was complete, I knew it had issues and it's been sitting for a long while...I figured when he comes up to stay with me we'll work on this one too besides he really liked the look, style of the car... We done this with my volvo wagon a 2002 ford pickup and a 2008 pickup. All gotten very cheap, with some work and time we got everything running very nicely. And had fun doing it...
This Nightmare was about to go to the scrap yard... But my daughter and her mom talked me into getting it going in memory of my son...
So here I am...
I'm not sure what I'll do with it once I'm done....
We'll see...
