I have the charge light on all the time on the dash and display saying not charging. This is what i have done so far.The battery is charging checked with my multi meter.

1:New Battery - Light still on
2:Used good alternator -Charging light still on
3: Checked correct voltage at pin 2 on multiplug - OK

I have unpluged the multi plug from alternator (generator) and the light still stops on . Is this correct as i believe the alternator supplys the charge light with a feed?


If any one has any ideas please let me know as its really bugging me

Your problem maybe in the wiring harness from the Generator to the Instrument Pack's Warning light.

Thanks Jim,

I removed clocks checked wiring and also removed the plug alternater cleaned terminals and resoldered plug.

Now charge light is working as it should be !
NOW on to next fault !
