1998 xj8 jaguar gas tank drop
Take the trunk carpets out, and it's all right in front of you. The only thing you have to do under the car is to release the quick disconnects for the outlet and return fuel hoses. And it ain't easy.
Find someone with the skinniest arms you ever saw.....some crack addict on the corner will do. If your forearms are more than 3 inches around you are going to be cursing...LOL
I enjoy doing gas tanks......just not those lines.

Thanks guys. I found a crack head. Actually my neighbor is an engineer and forearms the size of my flat head drivers. Took the old fuel pump and filter out droped it in and boom we have ignition. It took about 2 hours. Did not have to disconnect the fuel lines it was all there for me. Thanks so much for all the help guys. Tomorrow changing the fuel filter. I thought that may be a good idea to do after changing the fuel pump.
Side note anything else I should look out for at 62k on 98 xj8?
By the way I work in the medical field and have limited mechanic skills and it was not too bad with all of your help
