Default 1998 XJ8 parting out & question regarding security system

I am parting out my 1998 XJ8 as the mileage is high and there is some bad rust in the left front floor and inner wing area. Loads of listings on Ebay (x100fan) but not necessarily all that's available.

Despite searching online, I am not certain which parts I should offer as a matched set with regard to keys and modules? All of it worked perfectly when removed from car. At a minimum one would expect keys and the security module (SLM). It gets murkier as to whether the BCM should be included? Some say just knowing and matching the VCATS suffix is enough? The ECM is also sometimes cited although I find that doubtful. Ditto for the instrument pack.

What's the consensus amongst all of y'all?

I am located in SW Michigan by the way.

Thanks,
Brad

Don't match any of it, let the customer do their own due diligence. I'd piece it out and put in your ads.. "parts are from the same car and match, will sell together or separately" ....and... "will offer combined shipping" to encourage package buying.
Bottom line, get what you can get when you can get it.

You can also email David (great guy) just scroll down for his email and ask him if he is in need of any parts he may be willing to buy... https://shop.everydayxj.com/default.asp
He generally deals in new/old stock, but does have used wiring harnesses, panels and such.

Every parts car I get I take a pic of the VCATS and write the suffix on the module!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the module is needed to fix a car (might be my own!!!!!) I know if it will work.

I have a 1998 XJ8 that needs a RH sunroof tilt mechanism Part number HNA1752AA if you have one for sale. There is a cast metal part that broke on mine.
Text me at 803-446-3994 if you have one
