Hi Guys-
I know this is stupid, but the roof console came loose and it fell off. I finally got what I need to put if back, but I can't for the life of me figure out how it is to be wired up.
I've attached photos, but I can't find a male connector that plugs into the console. I'm starting to think that there is a wire that is missing.
If anyone knows how this should connect, I sure could use some knowledge.

I don't have a sunroof for mine, but just viewing your pics, there's a harness piece missing?

 

Are you putting back your original roof light assembly or have you got another one? As shown on your picture, the yellow connector is for the mirror and the black connector looks more like the connector of a Jaguar X350 (post 2003). Is your car an X308 or X350?

The pic below shows (cut off) part of the loom that plugs into the X308 roof light assembly. Its connector is much smaller than the black connector shown on your picture.

 

I didn't think it was another piece MS, because of the way it was written, I thought it fell off and he was just trying to put it back after getting the locking post. So your aspect makes more sense.

 

I can't say if this is the original piece that came with the car. It is the piece that fell off though. ;op
My car is a 1998 and it does have a sun roof. So, I guess it's an X308.
I wonder if someone put the wrong roof console in this car in the past.
I think I need to look inside the car and under seats to see if there is another wire somewhere that may have fallen out.
But it is possible that someone replaced the console with the wrong one.
Looking At HighHorses' photo I'm lean that way.
