I was considering bidding on this car for a parts car. I need a windshield, some interior parts, really liked the rims, understand XJRs have a LSD. Also, my hood has clear coat lifting and my trunk has a dent. If the hood and truck on this one were in good shape, I would have swapped.
It's got a salvage/parts only title. Flood damage with water mark inch or two above rocker panels. Engine ran when reached auction.
Decided against in when figured out the broker/auction/transportation fees would add between $850 and $1200 to the price. It's located about 60 miles from my home. Even though I have the ability to get it with my truck a car trailer, auction terms require that only a professional transporter can pick up.

There are no X100 or X308 Jaguars with LSD from the factory.
The last factory Jaguars fitted with LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIALS were the XJ-S and the X300 series sedans.

 

I bought my first xj8 on Copart $425 won the auction but that wasn’t it by the time I paid $60 for the gate fee and all of the other fees it was $705 out the gate I have never been around any Jaguars before and just thought I’d give it a try I like the pictures turned out it needed a transmission and seats. Other than that it is a good car and I still have it two years later. I now have 10 of them three of them are parts cars I still watch Copart but I find that craigslist is a much better place. Some of the parts cars were as low as $200 the other one $400 and $1000 yeah I always look at what parts are good on it and what I need. A new battery or a good battery is a plus so as a set a tires? I have considered taking a windshield out but I didn’t want to do it until I knew if it was able to be put back in a new one somewhere saying that they were brittle?
