1999 VDP
If it is a 1999 VDP, it could be seat switch bad, module, harness, fuse. In fact could be anything.
I would start by checking fuse # 8 in the left hand heelboard fusebox. Also fuse # 1 in the right hand heelboard fuse box. This is assuming you have left hand drive vehicle.

MY HUSBAND CHECKED THE FUSE UNDER THE BACK SEAT ..DRIVERS SIDE AND IT IS GOOD .I will tell him about the other fuse .He did stop at a Jag dealership today and he picked their brains ! they said it is probably the module ..those suckers are $700.00 new ! I am thinkin we will be heading to the salvage yards !Thanks so much !
If you are going to get one from a yard, look in your trunk where the spare tire is. Lift up the carpet on the left side of tire well. You will see a white label with a bunch of numbers on it. Look for the line where it say DSM and write down the number. It will be something like LJA2120AB/001
This number is important as you could replace it with something else and it still wont work. You may be able to swap your driver and passenger seat modules around to see if it starts working. Again look at the label and see if the DSM and PSM have same number.
Hope this helps.
