Default 1999 XJ8 Misfires

I have a 99 XJ8 and I’m sorry if this has already been addressed. The car died and it took me 4 days of cranking to get it started and is now running rough, before the no start I was replacing coils once a month. I’ve been searching the forum and found some answers but none that have solved the issue. I have several codes and fuel pressure is around 33-35 psi. The TB has been replaced with a rebuilt, other than that I have checked for cracks in the part load and other tubes I am not sure what else to do. Help.

Worst (well, best) case: look codes up in official jag doc (free to download). E.g. P1647 is an O2 sensor fault.

Fix them and all will likely be OK.

You could even read what other owners with the specific codes did if you use Search.

No need to do such cranking

First off, fuel pressure should be in the 40's. I've had my car for 15 yrs and never replaced a coil pack (all 8 original), it sounds like you have a short, thus the misfire on cylinder 8 and your sequence of codes.
For P1314... https://www.autocodes.com/p1314_jaguar.html
For P1316.... https://www.autocodes.com/p1316_jaguar.html
For P1647.... https://www.autocodes.com/p1647_jaguar.html
You'll notice for each instance a commonality of ignition components. You'll have to review them and discover the issue via tracing and testing your wiring.
Here's a thread on O2 replacement... https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj8-xjr-x308-27/o2-sensor-replacement-195018/
When doing a search for your P**** codes, always put Jaguar in front so it can specifically give you better results.
