Hi i have a 2000 xj8 that got hot one day and the restricted performance indicater came on. the car was running pretty rough so i limped it home and it sat until I got some money to take it to the shop. when i got in it to go to the shop it made it 2 blocks and quit running. i got it to start again and made it 1 block closer to home and now it wont start at all. i pulled the valve covers to check the timing tensioners and the timing chains. all seems good. i am getting spark and seem to be getting feul. is there any way test the crank sensor? or maybe the MAF sensor?
