Default 2002 Jaguar XJR Rebuild

So far so good so what! Almost complete just to throw the cams back in and brand new timing components for the most. Replacing hoses along the way as needed. Oh and decided to put 02 XKR block with the XJR heads bolted right up. Pretty fun project so far. Anyone have suggestions on any supercharger pulleys, headers, down pipes, etc? Any suggestions greatly appreciated

The 4.2 S/C engines has slightly larger diameter harmonic balancer pulleys.

It was my first car I bought when I had turned 18 a lot of sentimental value forsure. It was no fun buying new motor and putting it in anyone can do that. I’d rather take my time put piece by for personal satisfaction and entertainment.

Threw the camshafts in today set them to time just need the remaining timing components and seals.

I would get the blower ported. Very little power increase. But I do like hearing that whine.

If not, add a 1.5psi upper pulley. I advise against the 2.5psi pulley if you are on stock headbolts. Considering you are doing bigger lower pulley as well.

I remember my first LT1 rebuild and how meticulous EVERYTHiNG had to be. Having friends in
a parts Co-op both hurt and helped me. I remember how the experience taught me how to look
more at the overall picture rather than individual components. Mistakes were made and lessons
were taught, but that is part of the experience. and you grow in that environment.
