2002 VDP Fuel Pump
My vehicle started with a rough idle. It then back fired, died and prompted me that engine stalled. I can't get it to restart. It cranks, tries to fire, but will not run and start. I removed the shrader valve on the injector rail to see if any fuel comes out, but none does. I checked the fuses in the trunk, switched out relays and still no luck. I do not hear the fuel pump when turning the key.
If the fuel pump is bad, can someone tell me how toreplace it. I know that the tank has to be removed, but I am not sure how to get to the pump. Also, do I need a special tool to remove it?
My car is at the bank, so if I can get a quick answer I would greatly appreciate it.

From your description, the pump is bad or the harness is bad. Check the harness to the pump first and if it's okaythen pull the tank.
