I recieved the lenses for evaluation a couple weeks ago. Sorry for the slow reply, I've been very busy following the holidays. The front and rear side markers would be $90 per set of two or $170 per set of all four. The front turn signals are quite a bit larger and would be around $130 per set. If people buy the whole set ( front, rear and turn signals ) I could do them for $275 plus shipping.

The lenses I recieved will be good for making molds, but I would need one more set of front turn signals as I need two sets total. I have to butcher the lenses on one set to get a good clean set of housings, and I have to butcher the housings on the other set to get a good clean set of lenses.

Just let me know where we are at on this project, and we'll go from there. Again, I need to sell at LEAST 10 sets of everything to being production on these.

At $275 + shipping for all 6 lenses, I'm still in on this. I can check with the people at All Jaguar in Orlando to see if they know anyone else who might want to get in on it.
I hope we still have 10 willing to commit........

I'll search the yards for some intact lights to ship out, but I can only find one X308 in a yard in the local area and the housings we need are already gone or destroyed (it's a VDP in very nice condition besides where it something VERY hard).

 

Don't worry about it, I just sourced another full set, we are getting close to making this happen!

I.m not from this planet but I fell on this thread by accident. I have experience with reproducing lenses. i wanted to reproduce some taillight lenses in Amber, as opposed to the red ones that are available, for my 1965 S type. I contacted a company in Michigan and they didn't give me any baloney about having to order 20 sets. After talking to the mold man, who explained to me that any scratch on the master lens would show up on the repro lenses, I just sent them a brand new Red lens and told them to make me Amber colored lenses. which they did. Sure I paid a hefty price out of my pocket, but they got the job done, and I have the only classic S type with amber lenses for the rear turn signals. I even recovered part of the investment by selling the pairs of "proofs" that they sent me to other S type owners that loved my mod. So here's my point: you don't have to order 20 sets. That's BS. Find another business.
