Today i picked my car up from the shop. It was there because it had no fuel pressure and so they replaced both the fuel pumps. I was excited to pick it up since it has been quite a while since i drove the beast. I went in and the owner of the shop hit me with the news that my head gasket is deffective. White smoke out of the exhaust was the first clue, so he took it to the smog shop down the street and found traces off coolant in the exhaust. Great!!! So payed the man a grand and some change for the work and went on my way. Car drove fine all the way home fyi. What do i do now? I dnt have the money to fix it and if i did i dont know if i would want to put that much more in the jag..im kinda venting i suppose.. what r my options?

 

The first option is to post this in the X308 forum section. The 4.0 XJR is a little different from the 4.2 engines.
