99 xj8 ford transmission?

I would like to put a transmission from a ford into my car.I would like to know if anyone has put a ford trans in there car?

Into which car? An S-Type (that's the forum you're in!)? Probably never.

The X200 (S-Type 1999-2002) has a 5R55N Ford gearbox.
If you have a 1999 XJ8 you have a ZF 5HP24.

THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.
