I was on the highway when the message came on long enough for me to read then went out. It did not affect the car,just the msg.

Were you accelerating aggressively? If your rear wheels (drive wheels) slip any during acceleration you'll get a message in the display very briefly that lets you know the traction control system is engaging. It's not a bad thing, if that's what it was.
I know on many cars if you get an intermittent misfire then it only gives an error message while it's actually misfiring. Not sure if the X308 is the same. It seems a misfire would also trigger a lingering code though. Reading the codes is really your next step. See if anything is pending...

I was just cruising And checked no codes I think maybe it was just random but had not seen electrical fault message before
