abs light on asc and trac not availble

More details? Did they come on together? Raining or dry, while driving? Was car on dyno or rollers for smog test, etc?

Disconnect battery for a couple minutes and reconnect, see if it's still there.

ata, you have got to be alittle more descriptive about your request. This isn't a mind-reading forum, and a little "hi, my name is ___, got this car... yada yada" wouldn't hurt. We're not sitting here like customer service advisors (who get paid) just waiting to serve your needs. I know that may sound a little harsh, but forum etiquette seems to be getting lost somewhere. It's more than likely the control module.

I also have the same problem 80K miiles xj8 vdp. it happened while i was driving in dry arizona weather. i just continued driving, when i restarted the car the warnings were gone. I would like to know why this is happening? seems to me its coming on randomly?? thanks in advance
