What's stopping you? have you removed the undertray/fan cowl and tried removing from underneath?

I extracted the instructions and illustrations from the JTIS21 Jaguar Shop Manual.

Here is the scrivet (called screw rivet) image) part# KRA106001 Jag dealership retail price is $2 each, discount price is $1.27 each:

You have to use an 1/8th drill to drill them out.

The screw rivet is a standard motor part, you can buy a bag of 10 for $2, they fit in a standard rivet gun to fit use the largest hole fitting.

The other way of doing it is to replace the scrivet with a push in type fastener, like the inner wing fasteners.

Now the front metal bolts are a different kettle of fish - every XJ I've worked on had then rusted solid (salted roads) replacement is the only option, I replace with high grade stainless nuts bolts and washers, old school.

Marcus
Rockautoparts.com sells a Splash Guard/Skid Plate Pin Kit (ÜRO PARTS Part# BEC19939KIT) has 8 - KRA106001 and 2 KRB100002 in Kit for total of $6.96, but the shipping is $9.46 giving total of $16.42 (they are a California company).

Welsh Enterprises also sells a different kit (8 - KRA106001) for $14.87 plus $9.90 shipping - still not a good deal when compared to Sean B supplier in UK. I have not been able to find the parts shown in Sean B (standard motor parts) on the internet here in the United States.

I would try your local Jaguar dealership parts dept for availability and pricing (maybe your easiest and lowest cost solution).

This is a mighty old thread to direct a question to a specific poster! Anyway, you just have to use some short 8mm, I believe, conbo wrenches and have patience? I believe I loosened the bolts with the combos, then used a ratcheting comco wrench to remove. Its tricky, but can be done!
