Where is the best place to install the Line out converter in a 98 xj8? I hve an aftermarket sub that I want to add and have the LOC but do i just need to open the rear doors and tap into those speaker wires or is there a place where the speaker wires go into the rear heel boards or trunk?

 

The speaker cables join up in a 12-pin multiplug in the left-hand heelboard.

 

Anyone know which are the neg and pos for 1998?
There is also a multiplug connector behind the rear console when u remove the rear Ac vent. I'm assuming it would be for the factory phone if I had one?? So what colors are speaker wires?
