Stu,

Good to hear you've got over the incident although nine years is way too forgiving for me.

I also take my car with me but for a different reason.

Left the car at home and booked an airport taxi for the journey to and from the airport. Our home was burgled the night after we left. Never happened before or since in more than thirty years in the same house.

Graham

The thread may have been old, but the topic is timeless.
I've worked at airports all my life and most guys have an "airport car", the daily commuter car that you don't have to worry about.
You don't drive the Jag to the airport unless you're dropping off or picking up someone (preferably female) and want to look cool doing it.
P.S. My internet isn't slow, but I am. LOL

Hehe welcome to spain, this is an standard tactic by the locals, hit and run and than blame you, i'm sometimes wondering why i pay insurance at all. My last jag ended up so badly bumped and dented that i was about to do full paint job on it (at my expense of course), i always thought there was an element of envy making them treat nicer car badly. Now i park at the far ends of the parking lots next to mercs and bmw and for now it does the trick
