Default Alarm, turnsignals and trunk emblem button questions.

Is there a red LED that suppose to blink when the alarm in activite?

Turnsignal, the front bumper side lights, do they suppose to blink when the turnsignal is turn on?

Trunk emblem button do not work, It clicks when pressed, but nothing happens. I can't use the key to unlock the truck neither, it won't even turn. I can use the remote and the interior button to open it though.

Thanks
SGB

yes, an LED for the alarm is on the transmission shifter module...

no those front bumper side lights do not blinking, they are the cars running lights...very popular in UK...you can get side repeater lights that take the place of the side jaguar emblems if you want...i did it and love it...one side has the wire there the other side you would need to run to the front bumper light...search on front repeater lights and you will find how we do it

trunk emblem button, could be a few things...what key are you trying to use to unlock the trunk...is it green or black?

Huh, I don't see that, if you could provide me a picture I would help me in my search for it.

I will do a search for the repeater, but I like the jaguar emblems.

I am using the black head key, that supposed to have a all access pass, correct?

Thanks,

SGB

yeh black key should get you in, try hosing the lock out with wd40 or similar and keep putting the key in for a wiggle until it frees off. The wiring harness on the rhs boot/trunk hinge is a fail point, strip back the cover and check each wire for a break.
