Subwoofer volume disappear from the head unit menu? I thought because my sub was busted that was why. I just replaced with new and still not showing in menu. I'm guessing new amp?!

Strange. I would check connections at the amp- is there a hidden setting in the head unit to add/delete the sub?

 

Replied to this on your other thread-I'd suspect the Amp or wiring near the Amp. If any work was done on the car in the trunk area-fuel tank/pump etc-then it's possible that a wiring fault has been introduced somewhere...

I would carefully check all cables going to the Amp-right from the Amp itself to wherever they go. If the head unit is not recognising the Amp, then it's probably either the Amp itself or the wiring to it-check if any wires are damaged/trapped by the fuel tank etc.

 

I can unplug the amp and I get no sound. Amp working but just the channel for the sub isn't. I am about to just get a used one and try it. It's 50 bucks so what the heck.
