Anyone parting out an XJR?
Hey folks,
Looking for some XJR parts mainly under the hood and a few other odds and ends for the exterior and interior. The car is a year 2000 model. PM me or email me, mahalregina@gmail.com

I have a few items left from my 2003 XJR. I've been parting it out for a year in my spare time but not diligently. If you have something specific you need feel free to ask; If I still have it I'll give you a good price. Since this is not the place for selling stuff (classifieds would be ideal) just PM me.

There are 2 different X308 SuperCharged models (AJ26 (1998/1999) and AJ27 (2000-2003)) so engine parts can be different.
Might want to include your info.

I had my XJR in the classified section on here for a while as a part-out car, i guess it’s still there, probably just a closed thread by now. If you go to the personal classifieds section of this forum you can do a keyword search and maybe find specific parts you need?
You can also post a WTB (want to buy) in there for what you need and see if anyone responds.

Bob, I didn't know the supercharged engines were different 26/27.
I'm familiar with the VVT differences with the NA engines, but as the SC engines don't have them, I thought they were all the same.
Can a 26 be used in a 27 car, or are there big problems as there are trying to swap a NA 26 into a 27 car.
Thanks,
Rob

The throttle body is ALWAYS the 'dead-give-away'
The throttles are different between the AJ26 and AJ27.
The intake cams are different. The AJ27 has OIL TEMP SENSOR. Torque Conv drive plate etc.etc.etc.

A 7 Day Ban for advertising in the Model forum. If I'd seen the thread when it was first posted, it would be gone.
All advertising (Wanted to Buy, For Sale and Wanted to Trade) goes in MARKETPLACE. The reason for this is adverts go out-of-date but the posts stay in Model and Region forums forever. In MARKETPLACE they can be CLOSED when no longer required.
