He has not been @ this address since last year (I have property directly next door). Our names' are also very similar which I thought was neat early on in our venture lol, that later turned out to be a liability w/ joint bank accounts for business.

Note :
Due to our then company policy, all DL# & SSNs were edited out when digitally stored.

In hindsight I'm not even sure our files are genuine due to him being so hard to track during the eviction process. Very legit schizophrenic attributes w/ this guy. I've since accepted my monetary losses for back rent & washed my hands' of the situation.

Edit :

I see in the other related thread guys' are talking violence, therefor I'm taking down the license scan as I won't be a part of that.

I'm working on it. I started pulling stuff out and will take some effort to get pics.

Hopefully this weekend.

If you used G-Pay, like he seemed to like to do, you should have gotten your money back like I did already and I think I paid the most here. So there is no need to "follow up" and commit an act of violence and a felony.
You get your money back, ...be happy with that and learn from the experience. Also be happy he used G-Pay because your covered on scams like this.

Sorry to hear this happened to some of you. We weren't impacted by this example, but had a similar experience many years ago where we lost a lot of money to a bait/switch scam, and it is indeed frustrating and infuriating.

Unfortunately other than reputational impact to the scammer, one usually doesn't get their money back or see any real justice served as the scammer has long since used it, fled the jurisdiction, or both and the authorities are far too busy with larger fish. So it's good to hear that you were able to at least get your money returned via Google.

Although this is disappointing, all other transactions I've had with other enthusiasts on this board and others have been trouble free. So hopefully this doesn't turn anyone off from future transactions.

.

I think we've wasted enough time with this low-life. I got my money back, so that'll be enough for me.

Hey CS, you have some descent parts there, but putting this in a thread about a con artist who just tried to ripped us off posting similarly, doesn't seem the right scenario?

I think the skepticism is a healthy thing. That aside, I can certainly provide references with members here if needed.

I'm only trying to help here and willing to do so for those that want to keep these things on the road.

Oh yeah, your good people, no doubt, you help out a lot...but this thread is about a so-called member who tried to rip us off. Seems rather counter to what yours about? Your stuff should be in The Marketplace with reputable sellers.

Has anyone that got ripped off by this idiot been reimbursed by google pay? (wtf).
It’s been 12days and Google pay has not responded the any inquiries as to where the refund is.

I feel like I’ve been scammed twice now.

NEVER using google pay for ANYTHING.

PayPal would have refunded this in 1 day..........

NEVER use google pay......

Yes, I have. I called last Monday, April 9. The refund was authorized on the 10th and in my account as the first posting on the 11th.

Yea, I got my $$ back, it took a day to approve the return and about 5 or 6 days for the money to actually hit my account.

I would call them if you have submitted your dispute. They resolved mine already.

While he is incarcerated I had him served for the back rent he owes me. If anyone here was not made whole by Google then contact me & I can get you his pertinent info. if you'd like to pursue small claims or whatever venue's available for you.

I had washed my hands' of the unpaid rent($2,400) but since I know where he will be for @ least 90 days I'd give it a shot lol.
