Default Boost Gauge line from engine bay to interior

Howdy all,
Looking to put in a boost gauge for diagnostics and the hell of it. I plan to run the nylon hose into the coin holder on the left side of the steering column.

What is the best place to run this line through the firewall on the drivers side (LHD).

Appreciate any help.

Thanks.

to close the loop here, that big round hole that can be seen near the edge of the firewall on the right side of the pic above. The same hole is on the drivers side. There is a big grommet there, and its the perfect place to run the nylon boost hose.

Easier than I anticipated.

thanks for the assistance.

Nice! I've had a cheap boost gauge sitting on my kitchen table for a couple months waiting for me to do the same job, maybe now I'll get around to it

It was honestly easier than anticipated.

Tee into the vac hose from the passenger side of the blower hat to the fuel pressure regulator and run along back of engine bay.

Sean, would you happen to have a picture from the other side, looking in at the tunnel? I have a RHD e-brake lever on my bench, and I have dreams of installing it on the right side of the tunnel so I can remove the LHD lever to keep it from digging into my leg. I'm wondering if there are holes on the right side for the ebrake lever, as an RHD car would have. Obviously the carpet is covering it right now, so I can't tell what's there.

Wow, just noticed that large round cutout on the firewall. It looks like it is in just the right
position to fit a 1/2 inch extension bar through to the socket so as to remove the upper O2
sensor. What is that hole designed for?

Steering column gaiter is what the round hole is for. I think.
