hi all, my boot "trunk" lights some times come on when i open boot ,and sometimes not think its micro switch where is it. cannot seem to find so i can check it out , thanks to all who reply

 

The micro switch is part of the deck lid latch. Around $40 on Ebay. The other common
causes are a broken wire in the wiring bundle along the right hand hinge. And don't
overlook the obvious. A bulb can have a broken filiment that sometimes touches and
works.

 

thank you lear45 wiring is o/k will check latch for the switch i have 0ne of my x300 which i am stipping and will see if that fits because i know that one is o/k
