Boot (trunk) lock
The boot button does not release the boot lock, the key opens it ok.
I have disconnected the solenoid wire and tested with a meter.
The reading is 0.36 on the 20m amp scale. Its the same with the button pressed and not pressed, ie no change when pressing the button.
Have similar scenario on the Volt scale (not an expert on this).
Does this mean a wiring / button fault father than the solenoid ?
Thanks

Hi Andy,
Your most likely cause will be in the area where the wiring enters the boot lid by the hinge.
There's probably a broken wire within that area.
For the actuator you need wires black and orange.
For the switch you need red/green and black/pink.
In both cases the black is ground.
A known common fault.
Hope this helps,
