Default Can the automated seat moving be disabled?

I know that's a really vague subject line, but... when the key is turned, the seat and wheel move to allow easier entry and exit from the vehicle. While the wheel doesn't bother me so much, I find the moving seat to be incredibly annoying.

Is there an easy way (short of cutting power to the seat) to disable this?

Yup. On the left-hand side of the steering column, you have your power steering wheel control. You either use it as a joystick to tilt and telescope the steering wheel, or turn the knob to activate and deactivate the automated seat and steering wheel. There should be two settings for that; I forgot exactly what they're called, but it should be pretty obvious.

Thanks, I figured it was something really obvious like that. Guess that's what I get for speed-reading the owners manual.
