Do you mean "retrofit" as in the model year did not have them?

Yup, you can do it . You can also go for aftermarket sensors

Module, sensors , wires and skill . As far as I know you don't need to remove the bumpers . Be careful when drilling the holes I think that's the most important thing

Jaguar has/had a kit to retro-fit the "reversing aid" and I have the fitting instructions ( that include a template to drill the holes)
You do have to remove the bumper and the rear parcel shelve.

The kit included:
Sensors (4)
Holders (4)
Wiring harness .Sensor to ECM
Wiring harness. Sounder to ECM
ECM
Sounder
Template

Default Here is another backup sensors thread on the forum

Hi
Check out this other backup sensors thread postings. Shows all the componets and their locations. Also gives information from others who worked on these sensors.

there's definitely 2 ways to do it - OEM or aftermarket. I looked at the newer design parking sensor that uses electromagnetic signals, purely to remove the sensor heads, I was toying with the idea of a smooth car, but didn't like filling the holes left behind.
By far the easiest is the kit I mentioned above, there's no holes to drill, and if the install goes well, no more than an hour to do.
Here's a link to a similar kit I looked at, there must be the same kind of system closer to you in the USA
No Holes Parking Sensor | Parking Dynamics Reverse Sensor
If your rear bumper hasn't got holes in it, I'd go for one of those kits. I fitted one to my sister's RR Discovery, they work very well.
