I just thought that I would ring in on the post about the walmart batteries and how they are made side by side with other brand name batteries. It is true that these batteries are manufactured in the same facility, however they are made differently to meet the customers price points. The cell material, basically lead cells and the quality of the acid used is different. I know this because I have worked in the battery facility and actually worked on a new line that actually changes the acid out for the premium quality batteries and can see the different types of lead grids that are put into each battery. Just to add something to think about when you buy a battery.
