I am in the process of putting my supercharger back on but cannot get the intake elbow back onto the supercharger and the 2 rubber pipes back onto the bypass valve.

I there a trick to getting it back on? I have loosened the bolts on the drivers side elbow mounting bracket but cannot get the two rubber pipes back onto the bypass valve.

 

Are those new replacement duct seals?

If so, depending on VIN, the matching plate has to be replaced with a new design.

 

Waterdragon had a post a year or two ago that covered some tips for reinstalling the elbow. Do a search of his posts and that should help. I recently replaced my elbow, and I can say to go slowly! I trimmed the bottom of the 2 rubber hoses that the bypass valve connects to, thus allowing a bit more room to maneuver. Just be patient. You can do it!
