So I ordered part number MND2140GC (CATS Shocks: Adaptive Sport), but they shipped me part number MND2140DC (CATS Shocks: Adaptive Comfort).

Any idea if they are interchangeable?

Finding the Correct shocks in the US has been a complete pain and I am ready to just get this done.

By the way, CAT shocks are still expensive and getting moreso, it appears. Paid $322 each from DiscountAuto parts.

Cats dampers from memory are green for sport black for comfort, if you replace them in pairs I don't see that much are a problem, electronically they'll work the same, just slightly softer....
I've read the originals can be revalved/sealed by Bilstein USA...

 

Shocks and springs are matched and you have different springs for comfort, sport and XJR.
Also. EPC show only "GD" for sport not "GC"

 

Tubes on these are Black, so definitely "Comfort."

Great feedback re: spring rates tuned to the Shocks. Who knew it could be so specific...

Anyone else have a lead on a set of MND2140GD? Or perhaps the rebuild option? That was new information for me!

Installed new MND2140GD (green tubes) last week. Great difference, immediately noticeable. Thanks for all of the input on this Board.
