Default Changing just one shock absobrer???

99 VDP...
Had both front shock absorbers replaced back in November '10, and one of them (passenger side) just busted, leaking shock fluid all over. Since they're still relatively new, I shouldn't have to replace both of them, should I? BTW, I used the KYB KG5783, and plan on using them again... Cheap...

I certainly wouldn't think you would have to replace the other one, as well unless you put a ridiculous amount of mileage on since the original replacement. But, no, definitely just the one will be fine, I'm sure.

Here is the Jaguar policy for the XJ8 damper replacement criteria in TSB form.

KYB, not that much of a savings over a bilstein (maybe $25 each), as bilsteins can be purchased now for under $100. But, in this case, replace same with same, and hope for the best.
