I had my 2002 vdp s/c v8 for about 3wks now and every time i put gas in it my check engine comes on is it something wrong with the gas or what i used 93 so i dont know what the p[roblem is can someone help please feeling kind of down

 

I had a gas cap code on my cel, but that code also indicate another area of the fuel evap system.

Did you take a read?

 

Take the car to your local Autozone or equivalent, and they'll read, for free, the OBD codes that were stored when the CEL came on. Don't use their definitions of the codes, use the Jag code definitions that are here in the forum.

Let us know what the code and/or definition is and we'll help you determine the cause.
